chercheurs d'air
what are you breathing ?
As in many big cities, air in Brussels is polluted, which causes serious problems for its inhabitants and the environment.
The Chercheurs d'Air launched a new campaign to help making citizens more aware of air quality in cities. The association is made up of volunteer citizens who wants everyone to be able to breathe healthy air in Brussels, which is far from being the case at the moment.
I have the great pleasure to be a part of this meaningful project, by producing different illustrations, placing giant citizens as the center of this approach, wandering around their city and being finally able to see what actually surrounds them, us, everyday.

their demands
Road traffic is responsible for 30% of fine particle emissions and 69% of nitrogen dioxide emissions in Brussels region. This is therefore the sector to be cleaned up as a priority.
To do so, they ask the public authorities to take 3 measures :
• • •
1# Zero emission zone by 2030
2# more space for active and shared mobility
3# zero emissions motorisation for long distance driver
